What Makes a Good Coffee Blend?

Blending coffee is a fine art, and we take a lot of pride in creating our exclusive, organic blends to serve in all our coffee based drink, but what actually makes a good blend?

When roasting coffee, it is important to choose coffees that complement eachother. The talent of choosing complementary flavours and paring them correctly is sought after in the coffee world, but you don’t have to be an expert. You need an adventurous mind and a passion for coffee. Here is how we create our blends inhouse:

1. We start with a base coffee and brew it like we normaly would

2. We ask ourselves, what would make this better? - sweetnes? cocoa? We choose a coffee with the qualities we are wanting.

3. If you are daring, you can add upto five coffees to make your own exclusive blend.

4. Start brewing and mixing to find the perfect ratio!

So what makes a good coffee blend? A good base, an adventurous mind and a serious passion for coffee!
